Dr Wayne S Kot, DVM

Dr Wayne Kot joined the team at the Maui Veterinary Clinic in 1998, and in 2000, Dr Kot and his wife Leslie acquired the clinic and took over full operation. Since 2000, with the help of a competent and dedicated staff, the Maui Veterinary Clinic has continued to grow and evolve into one of Maui's premier veterinary facilities.

Dr Kot obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1995. He also holds advanced degrees in Biochemistry, Wildlife Biology, and Commerce. Before pursuing veterinary medicine, Dr Kot ran an investigative biochemical research laboratory. His passion for research followed him into veterinary medicine where he has published papers on canine and feline neuro-anatomy. In addition to general practice, Dr Kot enjoys a passion for general and orthopedic surgery.

Dr Kot specializes in smaller animals, ie. dogs, and cats.

The Maui Veterinary Clinic's current location in the Wailuku Millyard was specifically designed and built to address your pet's specific healthcare needs. We offer an extensive array of diagnostic services with industry leading technology and equipment. Our vets are available for appointments 6 days a week, and parking at our hospital is never a problem.

Whether you bring us your pet for an annual check-up, a medical exam, or a medical emergency, please call us for an appointment. Our friendly staff will make sure that you are taken care of as expeditiously as possible. We offer regularly scheduled exams as well as an emergency drop off service during normal business hours. We also offer an After-Hours Medical Emergency Service for our regular patients. For after-hour emergencies, please call the regular clinic number for instructions on how to page the on-call veterinarian.

Dr. Kot and his staff are amazing. The best part about them? They LOVE your animal just like it is their own. They take unbelievably good care of all of my pets (two cats and two dogs) and are always there in case of an emergency. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they have a very nice, very clean new facility. All of my friends and family take their pets to Dr. Kot and they all love him and his staff. He's very honest and takes time to explain all of your options and your pets conditions and makes sure you leave confident in his skills as a veterinarian.
