Heavenly Pivot Acupuncture is a licensed Acupuncture practice in Makawao with Naya Cheung Rice, L.Ac. and Zachary Rice, L.Ac.

Acupuncture is an ancient form of medicine based upon the flow of energy in a person and their surroundings. Its goal is to maintain these energies in balance. This can be accomplished through the use of needles, moxa, herbs, cupping, gua sha, and other techniques.

The name "Heavenly Pivot Acupuncture" was chosen to reflect a space of growth, and a pivotal point in our being to transform and move closer to our destiny. The name is inspired by an actual acupuncture point called "Heavenly Pivot" also known as ST-25 on the Stomach Meridian. The spirit of this point is described by Lonny Jarrett...

"Heavenly Pivot empowers grace through transitions by strengthening our balanced relationship to center. It empowers the virtue of being able to move dynamically in any direction, and plays an important role in cultivation of primordial Qi as a foundation resource in health and healing."

This is the the spirit of the space which Heavenly Pivot Acupuncture wishes to hold.

Naya and Zach spent a year traveling through Asia, volunteering and deepening their understanding of their medical practices and meditation before setting up practice in Makawao, Maui. One of their clinic spaces shares a space with the Maui School of Therapeutic Massage, and the other is at the Dragon's Den.
